As Principal of Gaelcholáiste Chomáin, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our school website. Gaelcholáiste Chomáin is a co-educational, multicultural and student centred post primary school in the heart of the Erris Gaeltacht, in which all teaching and learning is conducted through the medium of the Irish language. The ethos of the school is essentially Gaelach, fostering at all times, Irish language, culture and heritage. We provide a comprehensive education which prioritises the holistic development of each student whilst encouraging and facilitating them to achieve their maximum potential academically.
